The History
MJVAX is the brainchild of Mohd Naguib Razak, Hasnul J Saidon, Hiraoki Sato and Katsuyuki Hattori. Together they represent decades-long experience in the fields of media, video, art and education in
MJVAX is significant as the first of its kind to highlight the importance of video in our social-cultural landscape dominated by high technology and instant connectivity.
Creating a strong link with
MJVAX is divided into TWO sessions. SESSION ONE was hosted by
MJVAX SESSION ONE created a great impact on the Japanese art community. A solid foundation for further exchange amongst Japanese and Malaysian video artists has been laid. This success has inspired us to forge ahead with MJVAX SESSION TWO, which will be hosted by
