“Where is this place?” Kent Katakura has been in charge of pantyhose for 25 year as a trading company employee. He has landed at a tiny airport in a remote part of Malaysia, where no other airplanes make a stop. His airplane to Kuala Lumpur had to make an emergency landing here because of a storm. However, there is something that he must accomplish no matter what.He must break off the engagement of his daughter, whose wedding is scheduled to take place in just two days.
Then, by some freak coincidence, he becomes acquainted with a Chinese truck driver who is strangely partial to Japan and speaks nonsensical Japanese. They set out together towards Kuala Lumpur, where his daughter is.

After losing her mother at a young age, Haruka treasured the hand mirror she had received from her. As she grew older, she forgot about the mirror and eventually loses it. One day, she decides to go to a local shrine and prays to Inari for the hand mirror to be returned to her. As Haruka sits by the shrine, she drops her house key under the steps. After going to retrieve it, a small fox-like creature runs by, and takes her key together with a toy airplane that had been abandoned earlier. Haruka follows the creature into the woods, but loses it at a large fractured stone. Haruka dips her hand in the small pool of strangely warm water, and is suddenly sucked into the pool, flies out of a river, and lands in a cart with the creature.
The fox creature, named Teo, explains to Haruka that she is in the world of the neglected, a world made of forgotten things because his race cannot make things themselves. Hoping to find her lost mirror, Haruka goes with Teo to Oblivion Island.
人間に忘れ去られ、ほったらかしにされたものでできた不思議な島に迷い込んだ女子高生の冒険を描くファンタジー・アニメ。フジテレビ開局50周年記念作品。

In the midst of this eclectic team, Mitsuya becomes immersed in the world of dictionaries. Then Mitsuya has a fateful encounter with a woman. But, although he is an expert with words, he is unable to find the appropriate words to express his feelings to her.

Businessman Tsuchiya continues to believe in and wait for his girlfriend, who disappeared right after he proposed to her. Ayumi, who is actually an apprentice Connector being trained by his grandmother, starts questioning himself as he meets these people and arranges their meetings. Is it self-serving of the living person to want to meet with the deceased? Perhaps they’re better off not seeing them. Will the living person really be saved by the meeting? Will it change their lives? And as for the deceased… The doubts are soon directed towards the mysterious death of his own parents.
