We are cordially inviting individuals and institutions such as universities, libraries, museums, and non-government organizations to apply for the listed grant programs.

II. Japanese-Language Education Overseas
1. Training Programs for Japanese-Language Teachers (PhD, MA, Advanced Teacher Training, Short and Long Term Teacher Training)
2. Japanese Language Training Programs for Specialists (Librarians, Researchers and Postgraduate Students)
3. Support for Japanese-Language Teaching Materials
III. Japanese Studies and Intellectual Exchange
1. Library Support
2. Japanese Studies Fellowship
3. Intellectual Exchange Conferences
Application deadline is 1 December 2006, except for those which marked * is 20 November 2006.

Small Grant Program
The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur also offers "Small Grant Program". Proposal has to be submitted to JFKL at least two (2) month before starting the project.
It is highly appreciated if you can contact us to discuss the details of your project prior to application.
There is no deadline for applications, however advance consultation may be recommended.
