SYNOPSIS:
The harbor town of Sakai was governed by a group of rich merchants, including Sen no Rikyu who was Japan’s most famed master of tea ceremony. He was also one of the intellectual leaders of the Hudeyoshi regime.
Ogin grew up in Sakai as Rikyu’s adopted daughter. Passionate by nature, she loved a Christian lord, Ukon Takayama, who was a married man. She dedicated herself to her desperate love.
