With the JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL 2024 successfully concluded recently, let’s continue watching the celebration by making an account on our recently launched streaming platform “JFF Theater”. Enjoy Japanese films for FREE, anytime and anywhere, with English and Malay subtitles! Register now to watch 8 newly added films starting November 1st.

Apart from that, there will be special programs in conjunction with JFF Theater. The details are as follows:

 

JFF Theater Quiz

Stand a chance to win some JFF Theater-themed goodies by watching films and answering questions. Watch the films from any of the 8 selected films below, from start to finish. The quiz questions will rotate every month for the duration of the stream (1st November 2024 to 1st February 2025), so be sure to check back! Different set, different prizes! Do check the questions first before watching the selected films so that you may expect what to look for!

 

How to Join:

  1. Register and make an account on the JFF THEATER 2024 Streaming Page (https://en.jff.jpf.go.jp/).
  2. For the November Quiz, watch these 3 films from start to finish. Be sure to check the questions first before watching the selected films so that you may expect what to look for!
    • Under the Open Sky (すばらしき世界)
    • Her Love Boils Bathwater (湯を沸かすほどの熱い愛)
    • Key of Life (鍵泥棒のメソッド)
  1. Submit your answers on the Google Form link below.
  2. Once you’re done answering, hit submit and you’re good to go.
  3. Get all correct on a set to stand a chance to win the goodies. Winners will be announced on our SNS after the stream period has ended (1 November 2024 to 1st February 2025).

① Head to the ‘Create your account’ page. 
② Fill in the required details and select ‘Provisional Registration.’ 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

③ Check your inbox for a verification email, then click the URL provided.
④ You’ll see a message that says, ‘You are almost there in completing your registration of JFF Theater.’ Simply press ‘Create Your Account’—and you’re all set!

Subtitles can be confirmed in the ‘Video Information’ section on each film’s page.
