26 March – 26 May 2002, Galeri Petronas, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Japan Foundation organises a fascinating exhibition with Malaysia’s Galeri Petronas and Indonesia’s Galeri Nasional. It consists of contemporary work by eighteen Japanese craft artists in ceramics, textile, lacquer, wood, bamboo, metal and glass. The exhibition aims to introduce a range of frontiers in contemporary Japanese craft art, and we plan to hold related events, such as public lectures and workshops.
