The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL), Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur (AFKL) and Akademi Seni Budaya Dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA) will organize ?Mixed Jazz Concert? at Orchestra Hall, ASWARA on 9 April, 2011 at 8:30pm.
Tae NABATAME, from Japan, started playing classical piano at the age of 6, and later began studying jazz music and improvisation. In 1999, while continuing her studies on music, she began working as a pianist, and has played the piano in hundreds of concerts and live performances with artists from many different styles such as jazz, pop, Japanese songs etc.
Arnaud FILLION-ROBIN (aka “Arnito”), from France, started playing the guitar and composing at the age of 13. In 2000, he graduated from Music Academy International, Nancy. He has collaborated with numerous artists and experienced many styles of music, while participating in more than 1,000 concerts in France and foreign countries. He currently works as a musician, a composer, a guitar teacher, a workshop organizer, and a producer.
This time, Tae & Arnaud will stay at ASWARA and hold a workshop & master class for the students at the Faculty of Music of ASWARA every day from 4 to 8 April. This concert will be a showcase of their collaboration with the students.
