The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur is supporting Kuala Lumpur International Jazz (KLIJF). KLIJF 2012, will launch full scale festival for the first time this year and present world class jazz performances by leading international and local artists. Among of the artists are two Japanese musicians Hiromi Uehara, a pianist and a composer known for her virtuosic technique, energetic live performances and blend of musical genres from post-pop to progressive, and Meg Okura, jazz violinist, erhu player who has formally trained as classical concert violinist.
