Workshop: Teaching Japanese with Irodori
『いろどり』で教える⽇本語
The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur is inviting all Japanese language teachers and aspiring teachers to join us in a workshop featuring the Japan Foundation’s Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan.
The Japanese language coursebook Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan is a textbook for foreign people to learn basic Japanese communication skills that are needed for daily life and working in Japan.
This workshop will provide a hands-on teaching and learning experience using the coursebook (A1 level) by our chief lecturer – Ms. MITSUYA Mayumi.

- Participation is free of charge
- Workshop will be mainly conducted in Japanese language
- Individuals of any backgrounds are welcome to participate but must have sufficient proficiency of Japanese language
- Each participant will be provided a copy of Irodori textbook (T&C apply), Certificate of Participation, and luncheon
- Registration might be closed earlier once it reaches the maximum capacity

ONLINE COURSE FOR JAPANESE LANGUAGE TEACHERS
Japanese Language Teaching Methods: Teaching the Intermediate Level
JFKL is offering a training course in Japanese language teaching methods for elementary levels. In this course, participants will learn about teaching approaches that reflect recent trends in language education and consider how to apply them in practice. At the end of the course, participants will create lesson plans and conduct mock lessons.
This course is open to Japanese language teachers in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. It is also suitable for those who aspire to become Japanese language teachers, as well as those who wish to revisit teaching methodologies for Japanese language education. Both native and non-native Japanese speakers may apply; however, if the number of applications exceeds capacity, priority will be given to non-native speakers.
